As part of their topic ‘Road Trip USA,’ Year 4 enjoyed an exciting visit to Manchester Airport. They saw Concorde, the airport runway and Terminal 2. They learnt about different airport jobs and vehicles and even got to sit on the flight deck and pretend to fly a plane! The children will use all they’ve learnt to write interesting, detailed recounts and to plan a holiday to America.
