Year 6: Wrexham Museum Lego Session

Year 6 had a great afternoon on Monday at @WrexhamMuseums . Pupils participated in a Lego session delivered by @HyettEducation . They had a lot of fun building their bots, and then coding them to move around the courses. Thank you to @rafyouthengage for funding the amazing session.

Year 6: Nant BH

Year 6 had a fantastic time at Nant BH. They had lots of fun canoeing, doing rope courses, zip wiring and much more. All of the children gave everything a go and were very well behaved. We’re glad they had so much fun on their last residential trip with Ysgol Penrhyn!

Year 6 – Sailing

Year 6 have enjoyed learning how to sail at Gresford Sailing Club. In addition to learning how to sail, they’ve also developed lots of other important skills – team work, water safety and resilience. They can’t wait to carry on learning more sailing skills in the Spring!

Year 6: Nant Bwlch Y Haearn

Year 6 enjoyed spending 3 days and 2 nights at Nant Bwlch Y Haearn, they had lot’s of fun experiencing different outdoor activities such as Gorge Walking, High Ropes, Hill Walking, Orienteering and 2 night activities. They all worked fantastically well together solving challenges and experiencing lots of new skills. Gwaith Ardderchog Year 6.

Year 6: Learning Children’s Rights

Our Year 6 Super Ambassadors took a visit to Llandudno to learn more about Children’s Rights. Whilst there, they met Sally Holland, the Children’s Commissioner for Wales. They then did a service to the rest of the school to inform all of the children about their rights.

Year 6: Bikeability Training

Year 6 took part in Bikeability, a cycle training programme. The children had lots of fun gaining practical skills and understanding how to cycle on today’s roads. Year 6 now have the skills and confidence to do all kinds of cycling safely.
