Year 6: Wrexham Museum Lego Session

Year 6 had a great afternoon on Monday at @WrexhamMuseums . Pupils participated in a Lego session delivered by @HyettEducation . They had a lot of fun building their bots, and then coding them to move around the courses. Thank you to @rafyouthengage for funding the amazing session.

News: Broughton Community Council Defibrillator Donation

We had an exciting visit from members of Broughton Community Council, chair Nigel Williams and clerk Keith Lea, along with Tomos from the Welsh Ambulance Trust. They came to deliver a defibrillator which is one of six that have been donated by the Community Council over the last year! Others can be found at Hong Kong House, Pat’s Coaches, Brynteg Community House, Brynteg CP and Blacklane school. We’d like to say a very huge THANK YOU!

Friday 11th February Children can come to school dressed up as what they would like to be when they’re older. This is to support Children’s Mental Health week. We’re asking for donations for Place2be, a fantastic children’s mental health charity We can’t wait to see what everyone wants to be!

Well-being Week

We held a successful Well-being week. We looked at how to stay healthy and safe. Thanks to North Wales Police, the Fire Service, RNLI, Caia Park Health Team, Ady Jones Taekwondo and may others for making it such a great success!
